Getting to score The King’s Daughter was really a fantastic experience. It almost felt surreal scoring scenes that featured Pierce Brosnan, after having done GoldenEye 007 back when I first started working as a composer, who would’ve thought it! The whole production was so lavish, having been filmed at the Palace of Versailles, there was so much to draw inspiration from. Who wouldn’t get excited about getting to score Mr. Brosnan galloping across the land on horseback for the big climax to the movie!”
